Quick Overview of Uni4M.org

Welcome to the homepage of the United for the Messiah ministry. Whether you are a mature born-again believer in Jesus Christ, a new believer, or someone that is searching for answers, we are confident that you will find valuable resources on this website.

Our vision is to be a one stop resource hub for free solid conservative evangelical Christian resources; this is both how wide and narrow we wish to define the scope of the ministry. As we are one universal Church at the end of the day, we are United for the Messiah through the same Holy Spirit that indwells all believers.

The two main sections of our site are explain below:

  1. Home Page
    • Here we add brief overviews of other ministries and resource websites in a blog format.
  2. Free Library
    • Explore this section to find free resources to help you grow in your faith. Our current goal is to link a video Bible Study to every chapter of every book of the Bible (Through the Bible Studies); in other words, you will be able to watch a video commentary explaining each chapter of the Bible, as and when you require it.
    • We also aim to grow our Apologetics, Prophecy, Testimonies and Topical Study sections of the Video Library.

We also have a search function where you can search for a specific term if you are looking for a resource in a hurry. If you simply want to browse through available resources, our Browse page is the place for you.

If you have any comments, suggestions for improvements, or requests for resources to a specific topic, please contact us via our Contact page.

Hope you are blessed by these great resources.

In this blog post we will link to Open Doors South Africa, however, if you are from another country you can access another branch of their ministry from the Open Doors International website.

Open Doors South Africa‘s mission statement is as follows:

To strengthen and equip the body of Christ living under or facing restriction and persecution because of their faith in Jesus Christ, and to encourage their involvement in world evangelism by:

1. Providing Bibles and literature, media, leadership training, socioeconomic development and through intercessory prayer;

2. Preparing the body of Christ living in threatened or unstable areas to face persecution and suffering; and

3. Educating and mobilising the body of Christ living in the free world to identify with threatened and persecuted Christians and to be actively involved in assisting them.

We do so because we believe when one member suffers, all members suffer with that member (1 Corinthians 12:26), all doors are open and God enables His Body to go into the entire world and to preach the Gospel.

CARM.org – Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry

As Uni4M aims to promote unity within the body of Christ by sharing free Biblically sound Christian resources, we present another great Apologetics resource.

The Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry (CARM) is a nonprofit, non-denominational, multi-staffed Christian Apologetics Ministry that supports evangelism, radio outreach, and provides full-time support for several foreign missionaries.

On their website they describe their mission as “defending and promoting the Christian faith in all areas of life”. They go on to explain that the reason for their website is ” to equip Christians with the truth, to expose the error of false religious systems, evolution, atheism, secularism, etc., and also to teach apologetics, help Christians defend the faith, and glorify the Lord Jesus”.

For more information about this ministry and the numerous free resources they have made available for the defense of the Gospel of Christ, please visit their website.

Living Way Christian Fellowship

Living Way Christian Fellowship is one of the many testimonies of how God calls and use ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His kingdom. Pastor David Zamora is the senior pastor of this congregation. Watch his inspiring testimony in the below YouTube video.

Things That Matter: David Zamora, From Gang Life to Life in Christ

Living Way Christian Fellowship of Fontana began as a home bible study. The study met in the backyard of Rick Macias’ home, who was then David’s coworker and later assistant in the ministry. David Zamora, being delivered from his drug addiction and life of bondage, taught from God’s word at each meeting. His desire was simply to share the message of God’s heart changing power through teaching the Holy Scripture to any who would be in attendance. As the weekly meetings grew, and the backyard no longer provided sufficient space, they sought out a new venue. Their bible study was then graciously invited to join in fellowship with Fontana Foursquare, at that time being pastored by the late Hector Arreola. The role of senior pastor was passed on to David Zamora by Pastor Arreola before he retired, not too long after he went on to be with the Lord.  To this day Living Way grows in the community of Fontana, Ca, where we host many local outreaches (i.e. feeding ministry), launch out mission trips, and broadcast radio teachings.

Free Course Lectures: Fundamentals of Expository Preaching

The Master’s Seminary made lectures of one of their Masters of Divinity courses available free of charge. The course available for free viewing is Fundamentals of Expository Preaching. The course is presented by John MacArthur and Steven Lawson.

John MacArthur, founder of Master’s Seminary, defines Expository preaching as follows:

The message finds its sole source in Scripture. The message is extracted from Scripture through careful exegesis. The message preparation correctly interprets Scripture in its normal sense and its context. The message clearly explains the original God-intended meaning of Scripture. The message applies the Scriptural meaning for today.

Excerpt from John MacArthur’s book: Preaching

These videos can be a great resource and source of information for equipping those interesting in going into a teaching ministry. Or it could serve as a helpful refresher to those already serving within a teaching or pastoral ministry.

The lectures are available on the Master’s Seminary website. We hope you will find it inspiring and useful for your ministry.

Reawaken Hymns

www.reawakenhymns.com

Whether you are looking for worship music for your Church, for your home Bible study group or for your personal time of praise and worship, Reawaken Hymns have you covered. Reawaken Hymns is a worship resource by Nathan Drake. For more information about this ministry, please read the below excerpt from their website.

The classic hymns have a unique place in the modern church, amidst the plethora of contemporary worship songs, hymns can provide a bridge between the new and the old. They can bring a depth of theology to the younger generations and a familiar connection for the older generations. A unique blend of tradition and progression.

Many hymns sound surprisingly relevant in today’s worship as a reawakening of early musical traditions is happening both in popular music and church music.

Reawaken aims to demonstrate that hymns don’t need to sound “old”.  It is a free resource to worship leaders and musicians to help incorporate hymns as a natural part of the modern worship service as opposed to an unnatural sounding concession born from conflict. The vast majority of the hymn melodies are kept original, so that all ages can sing together. Just a classic hymn in a modern musical context.
